Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has started shooting for the third installment of the popular crime-movie "Sarkar".

The 74 year old says the movie by maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Vasrma is intriguing and unpredictable.

"First day of 'Sarkar 3' Larger, intriguing and oh so unpredictable," Big B tweeted on Tuesday night. The Pink star also shared that there is apprehension on the first day of shoot.

An entirely new environs, an entirely new set up, even if the designs of the story and characters have been indulged well in the past happens all the time. And yet we never stop speaking about it, he shared on his blog.

The director knows best and we leave it to him and his vision that is really the best way out, he added.

Tiger Shroff to shoot for 'MUNNA MICHAEL' in the house where dad Jackie lived

Looks like Tiger Shroff is all set to revive his father’s real life on the big screen by shooting at the iconic locations close to Jackie Shroff’s heart. Tiger will play the role of a street dancer from Teen Batti, the gully where Jackie stayed once upon a time and now we hear that Tiger will also shoot in the house which once belonged to his father.

From what we hear, Tiger Shroff will be shooting in the one room apartment where Jackie Shroff used to stay during his initial days. However, it is being said that a lot of stuff have to be moved and a large crew will be set up there before the shooting kick starts. On the other hand, there has been a tad bit of change in plans about shooting in the bylanes of Teen Batti. Since they are extremely narrow, it seems that crew couldn’t get a set up for the cameras because of which an entire new set, similar to the actual location, is being recreated in a studio.

Director of the film Sabbir Khan confirms that they are currently trying to seek permission to shoot. While he appreciated the way locals there are being co-operative because of the Shroff connection, he also added that he is ensuring that the look of these sets created for the film will look as authentic as possible.

Do Salman Khan Have A Marriage Plan!!!

News reports on Salman Khan being engaged to Romanian model Lulia Vantur have been rubbished by the actor’s sister on Twitter. But if Salman's friends are to be believed there is much more to this seemingly “baseless” report than meets the eye.

Apparently, Salman Khan intends to get married to his Romanian ladylove in the next one year. But there is no engagement yet. Says a very close friend, We don’t know of any engagement. But he has expressed a keen desire to get married within the next one year. If you ask me, Salman is lonely. He has a huge loving family. But at the end of the day his brothers, sisters and their children all go back to their own homes. Salman wants his own family.

Significantly after the “NEWS” of Salman’s “ENGAGEMENT” broke out, Salman Khan refused to interact with the media at an event for his new film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. He didn’t want to answer uncomfortable questions on his marriage and engagement, says a source.

Apparently, Salman Khan is more serious about Ms Vantur than any other girl in recent times. We only hope she appreciates Salman’s honorable intentions.

He is definitely committed to her marry her. He has been honorable in his intentions towards all his girlfriends in the past. It is they who have chosen to move on. So yeah, he wants to marry Lulia and she too wants to marry him, says Salman’s buddy though he reiterates there is no engagement.

BOX OFFICE - Diwali Releases Fail To Create Impression!!!

It was a dreadful week at the Box Office with none of the new releases managing to make any kind of an impression. Saat Uchakkey, Beiimaan Love, Fuddu, Anna and Motu Patlu: King Of Kings – None of these films had anything going for it and with such a rush in theaters, audiences chose to look the other way. Pre Diwali season, lack of exciting promos, poor publicity, bad reviews, zilch word of mouth and no real follow through meant that the collections stayed on to be abysmally low. So much so that even the combined collections of these films failed to go past the 10 crore mark after a one week run.

One can argue that the films should not have arrived in a heap. However, the fact also remains that most of these were delayed affairs and this was the only slot available for them when they could afford not to at least clash with a biggie. On any other week, a big film would have arrived and that would have only made the survival of most of these new releases further difficult. By releasing on the week gone by they could at least take a chance to find some kind of a run going for them if the word of mouth was good.

That said as has been seen in the recent past even word of mouth works only for 2-3 movies a year, especially after such a low start. In fact one can’t even remember when was the last time a starless film had actually managed to find its bearings even after extremely positive word of mouth. So all in all a very poor scenario at the Box Office and also the industry in general where flops and disasters have piled up big time.

In fact the Hollywood release Inferno [Tom Hanks, Irrfan Khan] didn’t work either. However, this wasn’t really surprising since the promo was average and it also pretty much indicated loud and clear that Irrfan had a limited role to play in the film. Moreover, the subject - despite good dose of action in there - was niche too and it would still be some time before Indian filmgoers choose a movie watching experience which is beyond the world of fast cars and superheroes.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil & MNS fight resolved - with conditions!!!

While the film deals with nothing but Bollywood romance, AE DIL HAI MUSHKIL turned out to be the most controversial film of the year, courtesy the presence of Fawad Khan. Karan Johar, who has been seeing abuses hurled at him by MNS for taking a Pakistani artist in his film, can finally heave a sigh of relief as a recent meeting with Raj Thackeray may have proved beneficial for the release of his next film.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil faced the consequence of the ensuing tension between India and Pakistan after the Uri attacks in Jammu & Kashmir in September. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, since then have constantly been protesting against the release of the film as well as pressurizing the government to ban the film. Karan Johar even took to social media to issue an apology and assured that he would avoid taking Pakistani artists in his films in the future. However, his efforts were overlooked by MNS and other supporting parties who retained their stand. It also led to cinema halls and multiplexes threatened of being attacked by party workers who threatened the managers to refrain from screening Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Considering that the situation worsened by the day, today morning a meeting was held by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis with MNS party leader Raj Thackeray and film’s director, producer Karan Johar along with a few producer guild’s prominent members Mukesh Bhatt, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Vijay Singh. The meeting, however, turned out to be a rather important one and Karan Johar now it seems can have a much smoother film release.

Talking about the results of the meeting, Mukesh Bhatt made a few important points and assured the audience that they won’t be hurting the sentiments of anyone, at the same time retaining the spirit of patriotism. He said, “We are Indians first and our Indian sentiments come first, even before our business. And I assured Mr. Fadnavis and the presence of Raj Thackerayji, that the guild has taken a decision, keeping in mind, the larger interests of the people, soldiers and the entire country, that we will not work with any Pakistani artist. As a president of the Guild, I am going to call for a meeting and pass this as a resolution and a copy of which will also be sent to I&B Ministry and also to the CM.” He added, “Keeping in mind the sentiment of the nation, Mr. Karan Johar has very graciously offered to put a slate honoring the martyrs of Uri, even before the slate of his own father comes at the start of the film. I think it was a genuine emotion that he felt towards the soldiers. Of course, whatever we do for the soldiers is definitely less compared to what they have done for us. Further, he also offered to contribute to the Army welfare fund. Karan Johar has promised to make the donation, irrespective of whether his film runs or god forbid even if it doesn’t. The other producers too will follow the suit and have decided to make a contribution to the best of our capability. It is our voluntary and small gesture as we genuinely feel for the army.”

He further stressed how terrorism divided the nation. “Now I am happy that we are all on the same page. Diwali is the most important festival of the nation and we owe the country a great and a happy Diwali. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will now release without any issue, problem or any kind of fear and I want to appeal to the entire country to please celebrate Diwali. I wish everyone a Happy Diwali with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil."

Voicing out the same thoughts was Raj Thackeray who has now officially announced that the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will release without any hassles. Raj Thackeray after the meeting said to the media, "There are three solutions. One is that a slate has to be incorporated before the start of the film as a tribute to the martyrs in Uri attacks. Other is for the Producers’ guild to submit us in writing that they wouldn’t be roping in any Pakistani artists for any film henceforth. And if they are, they will have to pay a penance of sorts, worth Rs. 5 crore to Army Welfare fund.”

Though MNS has decided to bow down and allow the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil after arriving at a compromise, the Cinema Owners & Exhibitors’ Association of India refuse to abide by the decision. Nitin Dar from COEAI has said, “We are not going to cooperate with the release of Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.”
